JOB BRIEF

We are looking for a Cafe & Bar Manager to manage a team and provide excellent customer service through daily operations. Cafe & Bar Manager responsibilities include scheduling shifts for staff, monitoring daily expenses and revenues and ordering supplies. To be successful in this role you should have experience working with various roles in coffee shops. Also, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and turn our cafe into a favorite local destination.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 2 years' experience managing people in a similar role

Strong leadership and communication skills

A passion for creating memorable customer experiences

Ability to confidently manage daily operations

Must have current Australian work rights

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate required before starting

High school level mathematics skills required for daily revenue and expense tracking

RESPONSBILITIES

· Manage day-to-day operations of the Cafe & Bar

· Responsible for managing staff including weekly staff meetings

· Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of all equipment

· Coordinate with vendors and order supplies.

· Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses

· Add new menu items based on seasons and customers' preferences (for example vegan coffee drinks)

· Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service

· Ensure all areas are clean and tidy

· Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation

· Complete a monthly report and attend a monthly management meeting
