About The Role

As our Café Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our new café, ensuring a welcoming environment, smooth service, and consistent delivery of high-quality food and drinks. You’ll lead the team, oversee rostering and stock, and work closely with the broader Ivan’s team to build a thriving, community-focused café.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a small café team with a great mix of new and existing talent.

Deliver exceptional customer service and build on our strong customer relationships.

Oversee food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality.

Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships.

Create and manage staff rosters in line with operational requirements.

Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and hygiene standards.

Drive sales growth and support promotional activities

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

Proven experience in a leadership role within a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.

Strong people management and customer service skills.

A hands-on, can-do attitude and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

A passion for hospitality and creating a great customer experience.
