Customer Service Officer - Leisure Facilities (Part-Time)
38-hour fortnight
Level 2 -$53,138.87 - $88,126.76 per annum (subject to pro-rata)
The Role
As Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing professional and efficient customer service to all internal and external customers. Your role will also include greeting visitors, receipting and reconciling payments made to the Town of Port Hedland and managing customer requests. You will have an opportunity to develop your professional skills while also assisting the Facilities business unit in promoting, coordinating and conducting leisure services. In this position you will be required to work 19 hours per week, and you will be based between the Port and South Leisure Centres and the Wanangkura Stadium.
The preferred candidate will need to be available to work the below hours:
Week One:
Wednesday - 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Thursday - 7:45 am - 4:15 pm
Sunday - 9:45am - 6:00 pm
Week Two:
Wednesday - 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Thursday - 1:30 pm - 9:15 pm
Friday - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
This a great role for candidate with experience in a customer service role who can demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Rights to work in Australia
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a customer service role and dealing with difficult customers
- Current C class Driver's License
