Azar Transport is currently seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to assist in day-to-day fleet and logistics management. This is a permanent, full time position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team environment.

The Role/Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of fleet management, transport logistics, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Manage fleet scheduling and routing to meet customer demands.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a high standard of service delivery by ensuring all client bookings are taken efficiently and accurately.

Answering inbound calls promptly and professionally, making outbound calls, working within our transport portal and attending to emails.

Following up and problem solving by liaising between the client, sub-contractor (driver) and Operations Team. Identifying and resolving any potential delivery issues before they impact the clients and informing them of any delivery issues or delays.

Job pricing, and permit/documentation processes.

Manage operational costs and subcontractor expenses.

Ensuring administrative aspects of the Operations department are accurate and deadlines are consistently met. Including the processing of job modifications, processing and filing of sub-contractor and client paperwork through our transport portal.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience in logistics and transport operations

Solid understanding of fleet scheduling, compliance, and cost control

Knowledge of regulatory requirements

Valid driver’s licence

Excellent customer service skills

Have commercial sophistication and awareness

Good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment

Have problem solving and negotiating skills

Be highly organised and able to manage various tasks at any one time
