The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Hire Coordinator to manage the full hire process from enquiry through to off-hire. This role is the heartbeat of our operations, ensuring smooth communication with clients, suppliers, and transport providers, while keeping everything on track in The Fleet Office (TFO) system.

Key Responsibilities

Manage client enquiries and hire requests

Prepare and issue quotes and hire contracts

Coordinate mobilisations, demobilisations, and cross-hire arrangements

Maintain accurate records in The Fleet Office (TFO)

Handle ongoing correspondence (maintenance, stand-downs, off-hire requests)

Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships

What We’re Looking For

Strong administration, organisation, and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines

Tech-savvy with confidence using digital platforms

Highly regarded: background in the plant & equipment hire industry

Highly regarded: previous experience using The Fleet Office (TFO)

Highly regarded: previous experience using Microsoft Office
