Writers Victoria has been at the heart of Victoria’s writing community for almost 37 years. Following a recent restructure, we are entering an exciting new phase and are looking for an exceptional leader with a passion for marketing to guide us forward.

This unique role blends leadership and hands-on marketing. Around 20% of your time will be spent leading our small, highly motivated team, while the other 80% will focus on managing and growing our marketing function.

We’re seeking someone who:

Is a creative and strategic marketer with fresh ideas.

Thrives in the spotlight- confident fronting the media and representing the organisation.

Enjoys building relationships with stakeholders including local government, philanthropists, partners, and of course, writers.

Can balance commercial acumen with a genuine commitment to the arts and community.

Has leadership skills to develop and manage our highly competent and motivated team.

This is a part-time role (4 days per week) with remuneration as advertised. You’ll work closely with a dedicated and commercial board that’s deeply committed to Writers Victoria’s future.
