We are looking for a special person to join our exhibition team here in Melbourne.

Your role will be to contact potential exhibitors and encourage them to join the annual Start Your Own Business Expo. This is done mostly over the telephone with some face-to-face meetings. You need to be comfortable explaining the benefits of exhibiting, overcoming objections and closing deals.

The job is based in our modern offices in Toorak. However there is potential to work two days a week from home. You will also be onsite at the shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. You can learn more about them at www.startyourownbusinessexpo.com.au

It is important to note this is a sales role and you must be comfortable making phone calls, meeting clients, securing new business and hitting weekly targets. Some sales or telemarketing experience is essential. Event experience is not necessary because we are happy to teach you about the wonderful world of exhibitions.

We offer an $80,000 salary + super + bonuses. The complete package if the shows make target is $104,000 per year and this will increase rapidly if you can help us grow the event.
