The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Wholesale Sales Guru to lead and expand wholesale as our primary revenue channel. Reporting directly to the owner, this role requires a strategic, results-driven professional who can develop and execute sales strategies, manage key wholesale relationships, and drive consistent growth across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement wholesale sales strategies to achieve annual targets, broken down into monthly and weekly goals.
· Lead wholesale growth through retention, upselling, cross-selling, and automation of key sales processes.
· Identify and secure new wholesale opportunities across domestic and international markets.
· Plan and execute major sales campaigns (including seasonal launches, Black Friday, Christmas, and stock clearances) in collaboration with designers.
· Analyse marketing, including website, social media and sales performance data, providing clear recommendations on effective channels, strategies and automations.
· Deliver regular clear reporting on sales performance and campaign outcomes.
· Cultivate and manage relationships with key wholesale accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and growth.
· Trade Show attendance of up to 2 weeks plus and up to 6 sales trips per year for approx 10 days per trip, domestic and possibly overseas.
Skills & Experience
· Demonstrated experience in wholesale/B2B sales and (some digital sales), ideally within consumer goods or creative, fashion industries sales. 8 years+ of experience preferred.
· Intermediate Excel skills and current Cin7 (or similar)
· Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to implement processes and coordinate cross-functional teams.
· Experience with Shopify, CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, advanced Excel CRM or equivalent), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager) is highly regarded.
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
· Clear wholesale sales targets established and actively monitored.
· CRM system fully operational for wholesale management.
· Wholesale-focused EDM campaigns launched and analysed.
· Seasonal sales campaigns planned and executed in alignment with design and production.
· Regular, insightful reporting delivered to the owner.
