We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Coordinator to join our friendly team based in Thomastown, Vic.
Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or hold a valid work visa.
On a daily basis you will be involved in supporting the company's sales and administration, responding to technical and application issues, providing over-the-phone customer solutions, preparing proposals and quotes, and assisting external sales engineers.
The successful candidate will have either sales experience in the industrial automation sector, electrical qualifications or a strong electronic/electrical background.
In addition, you will have strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, be motivated to learn and have the ability to work in a team environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Order entry and management in line with established procedures.
· Preparation of quotes and managing inbound sales inquiries.
· Supporting the Managing Director and Engineering Manager with the upkeep of technical literature
· Providing sales phone and email support.
· Stock control, invoicing, packing and shipping support.
· Assist Workshop Engineer with manufacturing of electronic instruments. Soldering and general mechanical aptitude required.
· Some industrial soldering experience is required to effectively support manufacturing duties.
· Working with the Managing Director on annual audit controls for hazardous area and quality assurance certifications.
· Maintenance of customer records and database.

Attention to detail, paired with excellent time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
Willingness to learn as our range changes and grows, ensuring that our customers are provided every option possible.
2+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics industries preferred. Graduate Chemical or Electrical engineers looking to enter this industry will be considered for this role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with hands-on experience using CRM systems.
Experience with any CRM system is acceptable for this position.

On Offer:
This is a permanent part time role offering 25-35 hours per week Monday-Friday, with flexible start and finish times to work within the team environment (school hours possible).
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
