The Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing accounting and advisory firm with a strong national and global presence to recruit a Senior Manager for their Corporate Bookkeeping team.

This is a rare leadership opportunity to work closely with a newly appointed Director, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the team and becoming a key member of your client's advisory team. You’ll have the platform to inspire, lead, and grow a high-performing onshore and offshore team, while delivering exceptional outcomes for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of growth and accountability

• Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio, providing proactive and commercially focused insights

• Manage complex bookkeeping functions including bank and EOM accounting reconciliations, AP and AR, payroll and lodgements, BAS/IAS, and management reporting

• Oversee compliance, quality, and timely delivery across onshore and offshore teams

• Strengthen client relationships while identifying and developing new opportunities

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation to evolve the Corporate Bookkeeping service offering

About You

• 8+ years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping (professional services firm experience preferred)

• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or relevant undergraduate degree

· • Strong technical knowledge of tax legislation and regulations

• Proven leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and inspiring teams

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver value-adding advice

• A client-first mindset with experience managing large, diverse portfolios in a Corporate Bookkeeping function

• Professional qualifications (CA, CPA, or equivalent)
