About the role

As a Senior Manager, Corporate & Business Services at Medcraft Cooper & Associates Pty Ltd, you will play a key strategic role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse client base across multiple industries. Based in our Frankston, Victoria office, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with business owners and leaders, providing tailored solutions to meet their evolving needs.

What you'll be doing

Lead a team of accounting and advisory professionals to provide a comprehensive range of services, including financial reporting, taxation, business planning, and strategic advice

Manage client relationships and oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met

Analyse financial data, identify growth opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to clients

Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure the firm's compliance

Contribute to the firm's business development and marketing initiatives, with a focus on building a strong client base and revenue growth

Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

4+ years of, post qualification, experience in a senior accounting or advisory role, preferably within a professional services firm

Strong technical expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret complex financial information

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels

Proven leadership and people management experience, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams

Entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation

Relevant professional qualifications, such as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) designation
