About the role

This full-time Client Liaison | Senior Bookkeeper | Xero role at Counting Clouds PTY LTD' based in Fitzroy North, VIC, provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper to join a dynamic accounting firm. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bookkeeping and client liaison services to our growing client base.

What you'll be doing

Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients, including data entry, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and GST reporting

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and responding to queries in a timely manner

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and documents

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Provide training and support to clients on the use of Xero accounting software

Collaborate with the broader team to identify opportunities for process improvement and client service enhancement

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping or senior bookkeeping role, preferably in a public practice environment

Proficiency in the use of Xero accounting software and other cloud-based accounting tools

Xero Advisor Certified or equivalent certification preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in advanced Xero features

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field
