We are seeking a qualified Chef to join our dedicated and passionate crew in the kitchen at Mudbar Restaurant for an immediate start.

Mudbar restaurant is well known as a local favourite and has outstanding customer service, we offer the very best of Tasmanian produce to our customers and we constantly work at improving customer experience. We have a great supportive team of diverse people to help you be the best you can be both in the workplace and in your personal life.

This role has the potential for the successful candidate to move into a senior position as a sous Chef when the skills required are displayed.

The successful candidate will require:

Have a keen interest in all thing's hospitality.

Possess a professional attitude towards work.

Adore Tasmanian local produce.

Can efficiently and effectively follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Believe the customer should always come first.

Experience in food preparation in a commercial kitchen / similar role.

Practical understanding of health, safety, and hygiene in a kitchen environment, including safe food handling, storage, and manual handling techniques.

Are excited to be part of an evolving workplace.
