Our client is the delivery division of a multidisciplinary professional practice that provides integrated Town Planning, Urban Design and Project Management services.

They are seeking skilled Senior Project Managers in all disciplines to perform a range of project management duties across a diverse portfolio of land and built form projects.

The Role

• PM Activities - Perform various project management activities across projects and various industries.
• Project Delivery - Complete assigned tasks on projects which include services ranging from project inception to completion using contemporary project management methodology and oversee tasks assigned to Project Managers/Assistant Project Managers
• Programme Management - Coordinate project programming/scheduling tasks using proprietary tools to the standard required by the project and the Senior Project Manager and Project Director.
• Cost Management - Coordination of all cost control and budgetary requirements on the assigned projects.
• Quality and Risk Management - Monitor project quality, risk and compliance which includes developing project plans, risk and issue registers, and compliance reporting.
• Supervision of Direct Reports - Assist the Project Director to provide technical guidance, mentoring and constructive feedback to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Reporting - Preparation and maintenance of reporting.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management.
• Coordinate project/client meetings.
• Quality Assurance

Ideal Candidate

• Tertiary/TAFE qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Engineering or Property Development (or similar), or a trade background.
• Current Western Australian “A”, “C” or “C-A” class Driver’s Licence.
• Minimum of 6 - 8 years practical experience as a project manager client-side delivering projects within the property and construction industry (or similar).
• Comprehensive knowledge of current project management methodology, including the understanding of complex systems, compliance, legislation, and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering significant projects from inception through to completion, and leading teams of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Significant experience in client relationship building activities and a strong existing network within industry.
• Strong software competency in MS suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
