The Clinic

This is a leading specialist medical practice known for delivering exceptional, personalised care in a modern and patient-focused environment. The team is dedicated to providing an unrivalled patient experience and maintaining the highest professional standards.
The practice is seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to play a key role in supporting both patients and clinicians.
The Role As the first point of contact, you will be the face of the practice, ensuring every patient receives a warm and professional experience. This role is varied and fast-paced, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage reception, incoming calls, and patient enquiries.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments using Gentu software.
  • Support doctors and the practice team with clerical and clinical administration.
  • Process billing, Medicare claims, and daily reconciliations.
  • Maintain patient records, correspondence, and information packs.
  • Ensure the reception and consulting areas reflect the clinic’s professional standards.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a medical receptionist or health care admin role (specialist practice experience highly regarded).
  • Proficiency in Gentu (or similar medical software) - desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional presentation and a caring, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work 4–5 days per week with an immediate start preferred.
