Construction Legal is a boutique construction, property and litigation practice. Our clients range from government entities, developers and construction companies. Our practice is growing at a rapid rate and we are now looking for someone who can help keep our Office organised.
As an Administration Assistant your tasks will vary every day but you will be an integral part of the team helping the office run smoothly.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, some of the tasks you will be undertaking include:
Managing supplies in the office such as groceries, alcohol, stationery, coffee, and general organisation of our kitchen facilities and building management
Organising Breakfast & Lunch presentations with both External and Internal Speakers and arranging catering as required
Researching and organising multiple team events throughout the year
Running ad-hoc errands for our Management Team and assisting with Time Entries in our system
Liaising with new and existing clients, booking meetings, managing calendars and sending Microsoft Teams invites
Setting up initial consultations and/or contract reviews, ensuring all data is collected and processed
Answering phones, gathering information from conveyancing clients, following up client instructions and tracking progress for the conveyancing team
Assisting Accounts with invoice management and Aged Debtor reporting
Effectively managing enquiries from clients and other external parties such as real estate agents and other law firms
Carrying out online searches and following up on outstanding conditions for Conveyancing matters
Monitoring email boxes and responding to enquiries
From time to time, assisting with paralegal tasks for other matters

Our team are highly experienced lawyers and advisors who offer tier one advice across the building, construction and infrastructure sectors. We are also lucky enough to work in the heart of Sydney’s CBD with a dynamic group of people.

Skills and experience
Ideally you will have:
A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work
Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions
High attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and promptly execute daily tasks, requiring organisational skills.
A great ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running
Excellent communication and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Happy to do the routine office tasks and errands each day whilst still be tackling the more complex tasks on the side.
Admirable work ethic and the aspiration to provide commendable service at every juncture of your work
