About the role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving new business across Australia. You'll be identifying opportunities, developing a pipeline of clients, and designing tailored solutions that enhance their supply chain performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Partnering with potential customers to understand their challenges and deliver tailored 3PL/4PL solutions
- Leading client onboarding and ensuring a smooth transition into our services
- Developing sales strategies, call cycles, reports, and professional presentations
- Collaborating with internal teams (Commercial, Finance, Account Management, Onboarding, IT, Procurement) to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in sales, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL or 4PL
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders
- A curious mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and find better ways of working
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
