Curtis Stone Events is the Australian events arm of internationally renowned chef Curtis Stone. We deliver exceptional catering and event experiences across Melbourne’s most prestigious venues – from heritage-listed estates to modern rooftop spaces – and for some of Australia’s most high-profile corporate, private, and public events.

As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our client base, building partnerships, and driving revenue growth. You’ll work closely with our Managing Director, Executive Chef, and events team to develop opportunities and turn them into extraordinary events that embody our brand’s reputation for quality, creativity, and service

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a proactive business development strategy to drive new sales across corporate, wedding, and social markets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with premium clients, event planners, and key industry partners.

Identify new business opportunities in line with company growth objectives.

Respond to inbound inquiries with tailored proposals that align with client vision and budget.

Represent Curtis Stone Events at networking events, industry functions, and venue showcases.

Collaborate with marketing to deliver targeted campaigns and client engagement initiatives.

Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and conversion metrics.

About You

Proven success in business development, sales, or account management – ideally in hospitality, events, or luxury service industries.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire client confidence.

Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.

Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
