About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at New England College Melbourne. This full-time position based in Melbourne will be responsible for driving new business growth and development within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives

Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new agent partners and students with a focus on offshore recruitment

Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients

Preparing and presenting compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business

Analysing market trends and competitive intelligence to inform the company's business development efforts

Tracking and reporting on key performance metrics, such as student enrolment numbers, to measure the success of business development initiatives.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a business development or sales role within the international education industry

Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in using a CRM and other sales enablement tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Tertiary qualification in business, marketing or a related field is preferred.
