Swillhouse is the independent hospitality group behind some of the city’s most distinct and culturally resonant venues, including Restaurant Hubert, Le Foote, Alberto’s Lounge, The Caterpillar Club, and The Baxter Inn. We are driven by Devoted Hospitality, Originality, and Good Times — and we’re looking for an Accounts Payable Officer who shares that energy.

This is a high-volume, detail-focused finance role at the heart of our operations. You’ll be the go-to person ensuring supplier payments are accurate, timely, and seamlessly managed across our growing portfolio of venues.

What you'll be doing

Process invoices from Cooking The Books into Xero with precision and speed

Run payment batches every second day, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies across all venues

Conduct mini due diligence when onboarding new suppliers

Support month-end and year-end processes with timely invoice management

Manage up to 400 invoices per day—this is a high-volume environment

Monitor key payments (e.g. rent, insurance) to ensure alignment with cash flow

Prevent overpayments and maintain tight control over supplier accounts

We're looking for

2+ years’ experience in high-volume Accounts Payable (hospitality or multi-venue preferred).

Strong Xero skills; Cooking the Books experience a plus.

Fast, accurate invoice processing and reconciliation expertise.

Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve discrepancies.

A process-focused mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to juggle competing priorities while meeting deadlines.

Strong communication skills for liaising across finance, venues, and suppliers.
