The Role
As an Accounts Officer you will play a key role in supporting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will be responsible for managing daily processing of receipts, reconciliation of accounts, liaising with customers, and ensuring timely payment of supplier invoices. The successful candidate will also be responsible for bank reconciliations and month-end reporting.
Key responsibilities:

• Daily processing of receipts and reconciliation of remittance advices

• Liaising with customers on credit notes and reconciliation variances

• Processing of supplier invoices and ensuring approvals within delegation limits

• Preparation of weekly payment runs and daily bank reconciliations

• Month-end reconciliation of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank accounts

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes

• Strong attention to detail and excellent reconciliation skills

• Proficient in the use of accounting software

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
