St Basil's is seeking an inspiring and commercially savvy Hotel Services Manager to lead our hotelling operations across the organisation.

About the Role:

In this impactful leadership role, you'll oversee catering, cleaning and laundry services-ensuring residents enjoy a warm, safe, and welcoming environment every day. You'll drive operational excellence, lead high-performing teams, and champion person-centred service delivery while balancing quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Your opportunity

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimise daily hotelling operations across the organisation, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a homelike atmosphere.
  • Team Culture & Development: Lead a high-performing team with clarity, compassion and purpose-upholding St Basil?s mission and values in every interaction.
  • Strategic & Commercial Insight: Provide expert advice, deliver data-driven improvement plans, and develop business cases with clear returns on investment and service uplift.
  • Customer Experience: Champion person-centred care by enhancing comfort, safety, food quality and feedback engagement.
  • Financial & Compliance Oversight: Manage a budget, support procurement excellence, and ensure adherence to regulations and best practice.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven leadership experience in hotel services.

Strong process orientation with a background in improving operational systems and structures.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Commercial acumen and an ability to lead continuous improvement activities.
  • Integrity and resilience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory obligations and deliver exemplary customer service.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A positive, collaborative, and flexible attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes/systems.
  • Experience in an Aged Care environment is highly recommended.
