Our client is a fast-growing advisory firm with a strong reputation for partnering with privately owned businesses and executives across a range of industries. They pride themselves on providing high-quality compliance and value-added advisory services, with a personal and relationship-driven approach.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Business Advisory Services Manager to join their team.
The opportunity
Working closely with the Partners, you will manage a portfolio of SME and private clients across business services, tax and advisory. You will lead client engagements end-to-end, provide strategic advice and manage the preparation and review of tax returns, BAS/IAS, financial statements and management reports.
You'll also play an important role in coaching junior staff and supporting the ongoing development of the broader advisory team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and review business services and tax compliance work (financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS)
- Provide practical advice on tax planning, structuring and business improvement
- Prepare management reports and analysis to support client decision making
- Assist Partners with client meetings, advisory projects and relationship management
- Plan and manage engagements including fixed-fees, budgets, workflow, team coordination, WIP, billing and write-offs
- Mentor junior staff and support their technical development
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
About you
- CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years in Business Services / Business Advisory
- Strong technical knowledge across Australian tax and compliance
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver advisory outcomes
- Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
- Commercial mindset with a proactive and collaborative style
