Practice Manager / Coordinator – Bulk Billing GP Clinic (Beenleigh, QLD)

Our team is small, supportive, and welcoming: two GPs, one registered nurse, and two experienced

receptionists.

About the role:

We are seeking a part-time Practice Manager / Coordinator (approx. 3–4 days per week) to join our team.

You will work closely with the doctors and nurse to support smooth daily operations, provide leadership to our reception team, and contribute to business and quality improvements. We are looking for someone who values teamwork, patient-centred care, and the unique culture of a long-standing family practice.

Responsibilities include:

- Overseeing daily operations: staff rosters, appointment book management, reception functions, patient flow.

- Staff management: supervising reception team, supporting training and reviews.

- Financial administration: assisting with payroll processes (with remote accounts support), supplier payments, banking, and practice expenses.

- Compliance & accreditation: maintaining policies and procedures, ensuring RACGP accreditation standards are met.

- Patient experience: handling feedback and ensuring a positive, respectful environment.

- Systems & IT: supporting use of Medical Director/PracSoft (or similar software), eScripts, recalls,and digital health tools.

About you:

- Prior experience as a Practice Manager or Coordinator in general practice or a similar healthcare setting.

- Strong people management and organisational skills.

- Understanding of Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and private billing processes.

- Familiarity with practice software (Medical Director/PracSoft highly regarded).

- Ability to balance the operational needs of a busy clinic with a warm, patient-first approach.
