ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
At WEST VIC CABINETRY, we design and build custom cabinetry for kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and more. We’re looking for an organisational hero to keep our office running smoothly, clients happy and our tradies on track.
This role is ideal for someone who loves being the friendly first point of contact, enjoys juggling schedules and paperwork and wants a part-time role that provides stability, flexibility and the chance to grow with us.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Be the main contact for clients, suppliers and tradies (calls, emails and in-person)
· Schedule showroom appointments, site measures and installations
· Assist clients with selections such as colours, handles and benchtops
· Submit material orders and track supplier deliveries
· Maintain accurate records in spreadsheets, calendars and office systems
· Prepare and send quotes, confirmations and follow-ups
· Support the team with invoicing, job sheets and other admin tasks
CAPABILITIES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
· Excellent communication skills — friendly, clear and professional
· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
· Proactive, honest and self-motivated
· Confident using computers, email and spreadsheets
Desired:
· Previous office/administration experience
· Experience in trades, construction or cabinetry industries
· Comfortable supporting clients in a showroom setting
QUALIFICATIONS
· No formal qualifications required
· Certificates in administration, business or customer service are desirable but not essential
