Our client is an Australian manufacturer and distributor of specialised electrical products and top of the line electrical teaching equipment. The business is very well known for their vast product range, national presence and outstanding overall company culture.
With the implementation of new product verticals and year on year growth, a brand new full time permanent position has become available for hungry, passionate and motivated person to join the companies Melbourne team in a key position.
The Role
This is a true on the road sales role that will see you covering a very profitable Melbourne territory. This role will ideally be suited to someone who has completed their electrical trade and has moved into sales or looking to break into sales. Tou will be targeting clients from Tafes, Vocational Colleges, Defence Organisations and Electrical Manufacturers within industries such as electrotechnology, automotive, avionics, HVAC etc where you will build report and understand the clients needs and provide product solutions for them.
Your product line consists of but is not limited to
Technical teaching
EquipmentSurge and Lighting Protection devices
Junction Boxes
Signal Conditioners
Encoders
Switchboard Products
The client is looking to bring on someone that has the right attitude that they can train in their products and systems. To be successful in this role, the right applicant will posses the following
Have an inquisitive mindset with strong technical and communication skills.
Be able to clearly explain technical concepts to prospective clients.

Be a self-starter, problem-solver, and growth-oriented professional.
Have a background in Technical Trade (preferred)
Key Focus
The key focus of this role will be the following
Grow and expand Melbourne revenue by managing existing clientele and expanding the client base through new business development
Focus on increasing brand presence of the new product line in your territory
Provide pre and post sales support for clients as well as any hands on assistance needed
On Offer
Base salary of $85k - $100k
Super at 12%
Car Allowance with fuel card
High earning bonus/commission structure
OTE 1st year $115k - $130k
