An exciting opportunity now exists to join our Rural Clinical School in Bundaberg as an Administrative & Facilities Assistant. Key responsibilities will include:
- Administration: Coordinate meetings and events, provide general administrative support (records, correspondence, mail), manage financial tasks (payments, reimbursements, expenses), and support staff onboarding including OHS inductions.
- Facilities & Logistics: Oversee day-to-day office operations, room bookings, and logistical arrangements to ensure smooth functioning of the Bundaberg Learning Community.
- Clinical Skills Support: Assist educators with setup, preparation, and pack-down of clinical skills equipment; monitor and maintain stock levels of consumables.
- Team Contribution: Undertake additional tasks as required to support the Facility Coordinator and ensure the effective operation of the Clinical Unit.

This position is located at Rural Clinical School Bundaberg Regional Clinical Unit and reports to the Facility Coordinator.

About You
- A diploma with subsequent relevant experience or administrative experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
- At least 2 years' experience in facility coordination, project management or similar. Experience in managing building management and operations will be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, understand and interpret client's space needs.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience and skills utilising various information technology systems, including Microsoft Office suite, Archibus integrated facilities management platform and StarRez or similar.
- Good understanding of current health and safety regulations and the demonstrated practical application of regulations to ensure compliance.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain high standards of facility management.
- Proven adaptability and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
