About Us

Mullum Road Clinic is a private allied health practice with several locations in Melbourne's north-east. We offer allied health services including psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology and counseling. As well as assessments and most importantly, animal assisted therapy!

About the role

As Practice Manager, you'll oversee the day to day operations of the Warrandyte clinic.

This includes:

Supporting and managing our small team of receptionists & provisional psychologists

Supporting our team of contracting allied-health

Overseeing client services

Managing facilities & resources

Ensuring the steady daily ticking of the clinic

No two days are the same - literally! Between our large team of part-time/contracting practitioners, therapy animals, reception team and our wonderful clients, you'll get to know new faces every day and have the opportunity to build many rewarding relationships.

You'll be running the show on the ground at Warrandyte, whilst reporting in to the Operations Manager who oversees Mullum Road's 5 locations. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to process and policy improvements and play a critical role in our management team.

This is a part-time, onsite position which would suit a wide range of experienced applicants (yep, it can be done entirely during school hours!). Ideally, the role would be undertaken Monday - Friday, but we're open to ideas from the right candidate.

About you

We're looking for someone who is ready to start right away and get stuck into 'on the job training'.

The following experience, skills & attributes will be highly regarded:

Medical/Allied health practice management.

Supporting and managing teams.

Navigating allied health practice management software systems and administrative processes including NDIS & Medicare claims.

Microsoft Office suite.

Flexibility to cover reception shifts if necessary (eg. unplanned leave coverage)

Exceptional organisation & written communication skills.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of diverse people.

Passion for supporting and championing neurodivergent individuals and providing neuro-affirming administrative support.

A love of animals - there's plenty of furry (and scaley) friends to be made in our teams.

Driver’s License

Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
