Practice Manager - Allied Health

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to manage a busy allied health clinic.
As an integral part of the team, your role will include overseeing daily clinic operations, prioritising patient care, and optimising workplace efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have:
previous experience as a practice or office manager
experience in allied health or medical reception
exceptional leadership skills
a proactive and energetic approach
Tasks and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
provide operational and administrative support to the Clinic Director
management and leadership of reception staff, including training, rostering, and performance management
improving whole-clinic processes to optimise overall efficiency
management of stock ordering, clinic consumables and building maintenance
assisting with business marketing, and social media management
KPI reporting for practitioners
Collection of unpaid accounts
liaising with practitioners regarding annual and personal leave
Key Capabilities
Qualifications and Experience
Extensive experience working in a medical practice or similar office environment.
Experience managing a team.
Formal IT training is highly desirable but not essential.
Knowledge and Skills
Highly developed verbal and written communications skills including telephone and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated reliability and the ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
Proven ability to work as an effective team member.
Excellent numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage and organise work and self in a systematic, accurate and timely manner.
Demonstrate leadership qualities - have the ability to engage and influence others.
Willingness to be flexible and respond positively to change.
Information Technology skills regarding proficient use of major programmes and packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
