About the role

Brisbane Concrete Solutions is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Concreter to join our dynamic team in our Brisbane, QLD office. As a Leading Hand Concreter, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating a team of concreters to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects

Overseeing the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete on site

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced team members

Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Leading Hand Concreter or similar supervisory role in the construction industry

Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to deliver high-quality, on-time results

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders

Thorough understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and equipment

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry

Valid driver's licence and construction industry training certifications (e.g., white/blue card)
