Bunce Concrete & Construction is a growing Brisbane-based concreting company delivering high-quality work across both residential and commercial projects.

We specialise in driveways, slabs, footpaths, structural works, decorative concrete, civil jobs, and council crossovers. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we're looking to bring on a Concrete Leading Hand and Skilled Labourers to join our crew.

These roles start on a casual basis with a clear path to full-time for the right people.

Key Responsibilities

Concrete Leading Hand

Supervise small crews on-site and manage day-to-day operations

Read and interpret site plans and scopes of work

Oversee site prep, pours, and high-quality concrete finishing

Coordinate material orders, plant, and subcontractors

Maintain safety standards and site cleanliness

Communicate effectively with clients, foremen, and team

Read and interpret site plans.

Skilled Labourers

Assist with site setup, demolition, formwork, and concrete prep

Operate hand tools and machinery as required

Barrow concrete and support the team during pours

General labouring and clean-up

Follow safety procedures and instructions on-site

Skills & Experience

Required (Both Roles):

White Card (Construction Induction)

Physically fit and capable of manual labour

Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team

Ability to follow instructions and uphold safety on site

Concrete Leading Hand:

Proven experience leading concreting crews (minimum 3 years)

Strong finishing skills (exposed, plain, coloured, structural)

Ability to read and execute from plans

Confident managing day-to-day site tasks and problem-solving

Current driver’s licence and own transport essential

Skilled Labourers:

2 year experience in concreting or construction labouring

Basic tool and machinery knowledge (jackhammers, demo saws, etc.)

Ability to barrow, prep, and assist during pours

Eagerness to learn and grow within the team
