RJ Works is a concrete and formwork company based in North Brisbane, servicing Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

We currently have commercial projects on the North and South side of Brisbane (Caboolture and Kingston), and residential projects in the inner suburbs of Brisbane (Sheldon, East Brisbane, Alderley, Ascot, Manly) with our scope including works from detailed excavation, formwork for slab on ground and suspended slabs - erect and remove (regularly including off form features), steel fixing, placing and finishing concrete.

The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled concrete leading hand with commercial experience to join our team for ongoing work with an immediate start. This position is offered as full time with penalties (super, overtime etc), and would suit someone who is enthusiastic and looking for stability. Normal hours of work are 8 hour days 5 days per week . This position can include the use of a work vehicle (with fuel card) including tools, and an iPad for access to plans, and submitting daily reports and SWMS etc.

The successful applicant must be familiar with and capable in all aspects of concreting from managing detailed excavation, reading plans, forming slab on ground and suspended works, placing and fixing steel, and laying and finishing concrete - plain, broom finished, exposed, and concrete ready for grinding. Attention to detail with regards to forming and finishing concrete is extremely important. Previous experience as a concrete supervisor is required.

A positive attitude is a must, as is being punctual and a team player. Due to the nature of the position being physically fit and able is imperative, as is an understanding of and able to actively and quickly use basic maths.
