This is an excellent opportunity to secure a top local role with a long established company in the food industry. They are seeking a motivated and versatile person to join their dynamic and friendly team based in Chatswood (with parking). The position will involve both administrative tasks as well as processing sales orders (i.e. customer liaison) so an interest in all things food is ideal!
Reporting to the Office Manager and working alongside a team of 4 admin staff, your busy day will include:
- Assisting with the overall day-to-day running of the office and relieving the Office Manager as needed
- Data entry of sales orders received via phone, email and online portals
- Overseeing production label printing
- Liaising with a team of drivers, providing information and resolving issues as needed
- Assisting with the bookings of interstate transport and associated paperwork
- Resolving customer issues as and when they arise
- Contacting customers if needed (e.g. for late deliveries or transport issues)
- Producing sales reports
- Onboarding new customers to the system
- Other ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
To be considered for this position you will have previous office experience and be highly organised with good computer skills (MS Office Word & Excel). Experience using an ERP (MS Dynamics or similar) would be highly regarded. An excellent telephone manner with top communication skills and customer service focus are also essential attributes for the position.
Hours are Monday to Friday either 8.30am - 4.30pm and the company is located in the Chatswood area with parking provided. Please note this position is based full time in the office.
