We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join the team at Knox General Practice & Family Medicine with strong patient focus, excellent communication and organisational skills.

Knox General Practice & Family Medicine is the core of Knox Health, a brand new premium medical hub with onsite Pathology, Radiology & Pharmacy, located at 538 Mountain Hwy in Bayswater.

The ideal candidate will be caring, and possess a professional demeanour, attention to detail and high reliability, who enjoys working as part of a team. On offer is a minimum of 15 hours a week, with the possibility to increase in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting & processing patients on arrival

Answering all phone calls for bookings & queries

Attending to doctors’ admin requests

Processing all sorts of billing

All aspects of Medicare claim processing & receipting

Reporting to manager/director

Attending to all aspects of admin and reception as directed by doctor/manager

Essential Requirements:

A minimum of 1-year medical reception experience

Competent to Best Practice software

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Efficient and accurate work

Excellent time management & multi-tasking skills

Outstanding customer service in a caring professional manner

Flexibility to cover additional shifts annual leave & sick leave

Ability to work independently, ability to demonstrate teamwork

Professional, reliable, confident, friendly and positive attitude
