About the role:

Our Medical Reception CCS team is a fully remote-based team that provides tailored and outsourced reception services to numerous radiology clinics across Perth. To meet demand, we are currently seeking two experienced Medical Receptionists with a background in medical imaging to join our close-knit and friendly team.

This roll has options for both full and part-time opportunities and is a work-from-home position based in Australia. Hours are in alignment with AWST business hours with shifts ranging from 4-8 hours per day; Monday to Friday.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and high-quality customer service to patients, referring practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. You will also perform administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, billing, and medical record management.

Upon commencement, you will be provided with in-depth induction training, mentoring, coaching, feedback and support.

Responsibilities:

Answering phone calls and responding to emails, queries and requests from patients, referring practitioners, and other healthcare professionals

Scheduling appointments and coordinating with other staff members as necessary

Managing patient records, including filing, scanning, faxing and data entry

Coordinating insurance billing and payments

Providing accurate Medicare and private pricing quotations

Providing patients with information about our services and answering any questions they may have

Collaborating with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of radiology appointments

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist, preferably with a background in radiology

Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation

Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn

Ability to work autonomously

Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency with medical software and technology, including electronic medical records and billing systems.

Experience with Karisma preferred but not essential

VCE or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred

Working Conditions:

As this is a work-from-home position with flexible hours, candidates must have a reliable internet connection, access to an appropriate PC or laptop and a quiet, distraction-free workspace. You will be required to attend occasional online meetings with our friendly team.
