Are you an organised, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for an experienced Admin & Events Coordinator to become a key part of our friendly team at YRD Event Management in our Taringa office.
This full-time position plays a key role in supporting our team and contributes to the seamless delivery of our services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working across diverse tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative support to the team, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
Assist with the preparation and distribution of board reports, presentations, and other key documentation.
Manage membership databases, process new membership applications, and coordinate membership renewals.
Oversee delegate registrations and support event delivery processes.
Work with the Event Managers to manage the conference program, faculty, and other event-related tasks.
Deliver excellent customer service to event attendees, industry partners, and association members.
Offer general office and administrative support, including fielding phone calls, and monitoring and managing shared inboxes.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in an administrative support role, within an events/hospitality or membership-based environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative software.
A positive, team-oriented mindset and a customer-focused approach.
Flexibility to work outside of business hours for evening meetings, or onsite at conferences.
A genuine interest in the events and association management industry.
