As we reintroduce Sara Lee with a fresh new look and renewed energy, we’re on the hunt for a National Account Manager – Independents to help bring that love back. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping Sara Lee’s future in the independent grocery channel across Australia.
The Job:
Own and manage relationships with Metcash, Banner Groups, and key Independent Grocery retailers
Develop and execute joint business plans to drive revenue and brand growth
Execute our national strategy and bring it to life in market
Partner with our field team to maximise execution, visibility, and in-store impact
Lead and implement a “push/pull” strategy across the value chain
Leverage data and insights to fine-tune activation and performance
Collaborate with Marketing, Supply, Finance, and Category teams to align and deliver results
Take full ownership of the Independent Grocery channel, including Metcash, Banner Groups, and key MSOs
Travel regularly to build in-person relationships and drive execution
About You:
A confident communicator with proven experience managing National Metcash accounts
Skilled at working cross-functionally and with field teams to deliver customer outcomes
Commercially savvy, strategic, and comfortable leading negotiations
Energised by travel, autonomy, and hands-on leadership
Ideally an experienced Account Manager in FMCG—or a rising star ready for a step up into their first national role
