The Role

Platatac is seeking a warehouse supervisor to join our small team and assist our warehouse manager handle our day to day operations, within our warehouse in Hallam. This professional multitasker will oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse. You will ensure the warehouse area is safe, clean and organised. Ensuring quality standards are met at every turn and assist with the implementation of efficiencies within the warehouse.

The ideal candidate is hands-on and detail-oriented and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. You will also drive and assist with programs designed to achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and improve shipping times, ultimately overseeing the fulfilment of large volumes of product orders every year.

Proposed Position Description & Responsibilities

Report directly to the Warehouse Manager

Supervise and assist in Managing Warehouse tasks and personnel including, but not limited to:

Warehouse Assistant(s)

Warehouse/ Production all-rounder (once-twice weekly)

Drive Forklift when required

Have a thorough working knowledge of warehouse stock levels and locations

Have thorough knowledge and understanding of receiving/ dispatch processes

Coordinate truck and delivery pick-ups for distribution.

Have thorough knowledge and understanding of Pick & Pack procedures for:

E-Commerce sales

Wholesale

Government (Police & Military) sales

Have thorough knowledge and understanding of e-sales processes and stock levels & locations

Inventory control

Monitor Warehouse efficiency, including:

Procedures

Stock Levels

DIFOT processes & requirements

Monitoring SLA’s

Hold, and maintain valid Australian [Victorian] High-Risk Work License [LF code]

Be the workplace point of call for returns & transportation queries

Other tasks as directed by the CEO/General Manager/Warehouse Manager that falls within the scope of Logistics & Wholesale Sales.
