Packaging Supervisor / QA Officer

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Packaging Supervisor with a strong eye for quality to join our growing production team at Multi Bev Co.

Multi Bev Co is currently based in Thomastown VIC but we will soon be moving operations to Truganina so bear this in mind when applying for the role.

You’ll be responsible for leading our packaging team on the floor while also supporting quality assurance processes—ensuring every can that leaves our site looks sharp, tastes great, and meets spec. This is a dual role suited to someone who’s confident juggling priorities and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing:

Oversee day-to-day packaging operations and line performance

Supervise packaging staff and provide on-the-job training

Perform in-line QC checks and support our QA Manager with documentation

Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance when needed

Help maintain compliance with food safety procedures and production standards

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in beverage or food manufacturing (bonus if you’ve worked with canning lines)

Confident leading a team and setting the pace on the floor

A strong understanding of basic QA principles and good documentation practices

Solid attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet

Someone who takes pride in a clean, organised, and efficient workspace
