Warehouse Assembly Team Lead 2IC

Haus Group Australian is a leading manufacturers of premium kitchen appliances across Australia and New Zealand. Located at the warehouse in Dandenong South this role will help lead and manage a medium sized experienced assembly team.

Acting as the team lead 2IC reporting to the Warehouse manager you will have extensive experience working within warehouse assembly and show initiative and an ability to lead. You will be process driven with exceptional attention to detail resulting in perfection. This position would suit someone who finds comfort in repetition and mastery.

This is a new role within the company due to recent growth. Would suit someone with extensive warehouse assembly experience who wants to move into a leading role.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

Assembling and testing our premium range of kitchen appliances

Supporting a safety-first culture and reporting any hazards immediately

Processing inbound and outbound consignments

May require heavy lifting

Various warehouse duties as required

Acting as team lead when required

Assist is setting up packing lines to achieve smooth, efficient operation

Balancing workflows across packing stations to reduce downtime and bottlenecks

Monitoring and adjusting line speed, staff allocation, and output to meet targets

Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of packers across multiple lines

Conducting or assisting with team meetings, briefings, and training

Ensuring packing is completed to specification, meeting quality and compliance standards

Coordinating with other departments to ensure all materials are available as needed

Maintaining clean and safe work areas and ensuring equipment is cleaned between jobs

Troubleshooting line issues and reporting technical or maintenance concerns

Keeping accurate production data and reporting KPIs to the Production Manager

Training new team members on job briefs and procedures

Flagging performance or personnel issues for resolution

The successful applicant must demonstrate:

Previous experience in Warehouse Assembly is a must.

The ability to show initiative and lead a team.

The ability to lead under pressure, solve problems on the fly, and keep the team on track

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Exceptional attention to detail and work quality

Excellent time management skills and organisational skills

Ability to learn product details

Knowledge of electronics is ideal
