We are based in Dandenong South with a support office in Tullamarine. Absolute Storage Systems P/L is a leading provider of innovative warehousing, storage, and distribution solutions in the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industries. With a strong focus on customer service, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results for our clients.

With the support of the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor , you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations at our facility in Dandenong South, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will see you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse.

What you'll be doing

Leading a team of 4 personnel

Assisting in optimising warehouse workflows and implementing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency

Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in a timely and accurate manner

Maintaining strict inventory control and conducting regular stock takes

Assisting in ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Identifying and addressing any operational issues or bottlenecks

Collaborating with the wider business to provide exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (3+ years) in a warehouse or logistics supervisor / management role. This is a must have. We need someone that can join our team and contribute from the outset, using their knowledge and experience to lead the team.

Strong leadership and people management skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory control software

Thorough understanding of warehousing, storage, and distribution processes.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

A commitment to safety and a track record of implementing effective safety protocols

Forklift license and suitable experience

A willingness to operate and be trained in the use of hand tools such as grinders, rattle guns and drop saw.
