This is a hands-on graduate role for someone with a mechanical engineering degree, aimed at building experience across product development, testing, and client engagement. A key focus early on is developing SolidWorks skills, particularly for creating product drawings and 3D renders that support the marketing department.
Key responsibilities:
- Start in the lab, learning the quality control (QC) testing processes (NATA standards).
- Support product development, including work on materials and fasteners.
- Use SolidWorks to produce technical drawings and product visuals.
- Assist with admin tasks as part of the early training period.
- Gradually move into site inspections or working directly with end users of the products.
What they’re looking for:
- Mechanical engineering graduate
- SolidWorks experience (portfolio would be a plus)
- Willingness to be hands on in the lab and product development
- Keen to grow into more client facing or field based responsibilities over time
Day-to-day work:
- Split between lab testing, product drawing, and supporting evolving product designs
- Exposure to a range of materials and fasteners
- Working with products that frequently change and evolve
