FuelSpec Services, (formerly Liquip NSW) is a trusted provider in the petrochemical and bulk transport industries. We specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom fuel systems and infrastructure - including truck tankers, site service/fuelling trucks, aviation trucks (refuellers and service), aviation terminal equipment, gas tankers & service trucks, fuel terminal equipment and bulk storage and distribution facilities.
We are expanding our in-house capabilities to enhance our offering in SMART, innovative products and services. These capabilities encompass, design and development, project management and manufacturing. Our strategic expansion strengthens our market presence and drives ongoing growth.
As a result, we are looking for a Graduate or recently Graduated Engineer – Design and Project Engineering who wants to join our team to be part of this exciting growth. This role offers the rare chance to take ownership of your designs and see them used in real-world applications

About the Position
Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Engineer this position offers exceptional opportunities for growth as FuelSpec Services capitalises on increased market investment and demand. This position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment

Key Responsibilities
Design components and systems for truck fuel and gas tankers, aviation refuelling units, terminals, and mobile fuel systems
Design and review flow, control and safety circuits
Work through the full project lifecycle – from design and procurement to installation and commissioning
Be hands-on in the workshop and on-site, troubleshooting and problem-solving
Collaborate daily with welders, fitters, electricians and mechanics
Support testing, QA, and client handover
Participate in continuous improvement, design reviews, and product development
Act as a positive ambassador for the FuelSpec Services Brand
About You

What you will need:
A degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (graduate or recent graduate with up to two years’ experience)
Solid CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
A strong interest in practical, hands-on engineering
Full working rights in Australia and a valid driver’s licence
