Better Staff is proud to partner with a well-established organisation based in the heart of Sydney’s CBD in the search for a highly organised and personable Office Coordinator.
This is a vital role at the centre of the business – ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in creating a smooth-running workplace, and enjoys being the friendly first point of contact for staff, clients and visitors alike.
About the Role
In this dynamic and hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, including reception duties, meeting coordination, facilities support, and general admin. You’ll also support the leadership team with EA tasks, assist with onboarding new staff, coordinate internal events, and help with travel bookings, reporting and document preparation.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the glue that holds everything together and takes initiative to ensure things are done right – often before anyone has to ask.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Managing reception and greeting clients and visitors
Coordinating meeting rooms, office supplies, and facility needs
Preparing documents, presentations, and reports
Supporting directors with calendar management and travel arrangements
Assisting with onboarding and general office communications
Helping with quotes, invoicing, and order tracking
Providing general admin and team support across the business
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in an office support or admin role
Confident communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work autonomously
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
A warm, team-focused attitude with a proactive mindset
