We’re on the lookout for a proactive and experienced Purchasing / Admin Officer to become a key member of our close-knit team in Dural, NSW.

The role

The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks to support the customers and management to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing

Dealings with international suppliers and freight forwarders for stock procurement activities

Manage warranty claims and repair requests with customers and suppliers

Maintain accurate customer records, pricing, and interactions in MYOB and CRM

Monitor inventory levels and provide regular stock updates

Forecast demand and raise purchase orders with suppliers

Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment

Generate monthly sales and inventory reports using advanced Excel skills

Administrative

Manage incoming and outgoing calls, emails, visitor enquiries, and general office administration

Respond to customer enquiries, resolve order discrepancies, and maintain a high standard of service

Raise quotes, process invoices, apply payments, and follow up on overdue accounts when required

Report to the Managing Director on any customer, inventory, or account issues that may impact order delivery

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 3 years’ experience in admin, purchasing, or customer support roles within Australia.

Proficiency in MYOB (minimum 2 years required)

Advanced Microsoft Excel & Office (Outlook & Word)

Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills

Highly Regarded

Experience in the medical or allied health sector in distribution industry

Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

A problem solver with the ability to think outside the box

Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of working independently
