About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive, highly organised Administration & Organisational Support Officer to help our remote team operate efficiently and effectively. In this varied role, you’ll support daily operations including administration, logistics, systems, and contractor coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Manage digital filing systems, licences, and key records
Provide admin support across finance, payroll, HR, and recruitment
Assist with travel bookings, workshop logistics, and team coordination
Schedule meetings, take minutes, track actions, and follow up
Liaise with contractors and manage subscriptions and procurement
Maintain and improve internal systems, guides, and workflows
Support staff across projects with responsive, efficient admin support
About You
Essential:
Experience in administrative support or office management (remote experience desirable)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital tools
Familiarity with cloud-based systems such as Xero, CRMs, and task managers
Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management
Tech-savvy, service-oriented, and highly organised
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team
Aligned with BDL’s mission and values
Desirable:
Experience in HR or finance admin, Canva, or governance support
Experience in conservation, not-for-profit, or small team settings

Eligibility
Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have a valid work permit/visa and be based in Australia
