Goody’s Earthmoving Pty Ltd a leading cartage, plant hire and earthmoving business in the Central Queensland region. A locally owned and operated family business, 18 years young, we pride ourselves on our prompt, professional and reliable service, quality work and cost effective solutions.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations, Compliance & Contract Administration Person to join our small team in Rockhampton, QLD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting management in overseeing daily administrative operational requirements, ensuring adequate company compliance and contractual requirements, assisting in estimations and tendering, and general support of our operations department and administration team. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Manage daily operational dockets and reporting in preparation for payroll and invoicing.

Manage company compliance and contractual requirements.

Assist in the completion of estimations and tenders.

Assist in implementing and maintaining adequate processes and procedures.

Business development of WHS systems.

Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.

Maintain and update databases and records.

Assist in onboarding of new staff members.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Work in cooperation with entire administration team to achieve required outcomes.

Performance competencies

Proven Administration experience, preferably in logistics, plant hire, civil construction, earthmoving or related industry.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.

Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
