ASAP Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Administrative and Compliance Support to join our high-profile client - one of Australia's leading Home Timber & Hardware Distributors - located in Berrinba, QLD.

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping systems running smoothly behind the scenes? We are looking for a proactive and dependable Administrative & Compliance Support Officer to play a vital role in supporting our safety, training, and site compliance operations.

Position Details:

Location: Berrinba, QLD

Shift: 4-day work week (40 hours)

Pay Rate: From $36+ per hour

Key Responsibilities:

General administrative and ad hoc duties

Accurately capture data, maintain files, and scan important documentation

Maintain and update training and ATR matrix, using platforms like iAuditor

Prepare and track Toolbox Talks, updating records in the training matrix and Evotix system

Data entry and inventory management

Manage and update the contractor roster, tracking leave, absences, and timekeeping

Coordinate onboarding: prepare induction packs, process new hire documentation, and archive terminated staff records

Perform scanning of documents such as visitor logs, job cards, and safety documentation

Update and distribute monthly Health & Safety and JCC meeting minutes

Track and validate First Aid and Fire Warden training and certification statuses

Sign in/out contractors and book site access via Link Safe (including pre-visit induction compliance)

System management: Link Safe, iAuditor, and Evotix

Create and maintain employee files and databases

Generate and prepare benchmark reports for management

Maintain register and roster accurately

Manage staff amenities (e.g., tea, coffee, milk) and maintain office supplies

Support with maintenance job bookings and contractor coordination

Ensure compliance documents and registers are up to date

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse administration

1 year experience in health and safety administration (preferred)

Strong organizational and time management skills

High attention to detail and confidentiality in managing employee records

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of formulas and spreadsheets

Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills

Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated

Must have own reliable transport
