About the Role

We offer casual pay rates with mostly regular, consistent workdays — and we’re looking for someone who’s looking for a long-term, permanent place on the team with some variation in hours.

Are you someone with solid admin skills who enjoys structured work, values a steady routine, and takes pride in doing things right — without taking work home at the end of the day?

We’re a small, boutique bookkeeping and BAS Agent firm located in Abbotsford VIC, looking for a reliable and efficient Administration Assistant to join us 1–2 set weekdays per week. You'll start with Wednesdays in the office, with the potential to add Mondays during peak times.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys quiet, focused tasks that make a real impact — all within a friendly, down-to-earth team (plus the occasional visit from our two small cavoodles 🐶 who love a pat but otherwise keep to themselves).

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter and organise data

Scan and upload client documents

Maintain digital and hardcopy filing systems

Keep records tidy, consistent, and audit-ready

Undertake tasks that free up our team to handle more complex responsibilities

Provide backup support in all aspects of office management

Assist with accounts tasks such as basic data entry (training provided)

Organise our fun team activities

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Organised, motivated, and resourceful, with a proven track record in administration or strong transferable office skills

Personable

Highly attentive to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks

A good communicator, both verbal and written, who isn’t afraid to ask questions or clarify expectations

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word

A dependable team player who is reliable, trustworthy, and happy to support colleagues or cover when needed

Comfortable working independently, while being part of a close-knit, supportive team

Available during EOFY (mid-June to mid-August), our busiest time of year

Ok with small hypoallergenic dogs — our friendly cavoodles may pop in for a pat now and then!

Bonus points if you have bookkeeping experience, but it's not essential.
