Job Title: Office Furniture Installer

Position Summary

The Furniture Installer is responsible for the efficient and professional assembly, delivery, and installation of office furniture at client sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service. Installers must ensure that all tasks are completed according to company standards and in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Load, transport, and deliver furniture safely to client locations

Assemble and install office furniture (workstations, desks, chairs, partitions, etc.) according to floor plans, installation guides, and client requirements

Perform quality checks to ensure all items are damage-free and properly installed

Communicate effectively with clients and team members on-site

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, vehicles, and tools

Accurately complete delivery documentation and installation checklists

Identify and report any issues, missing parts, or installation obstacles

Follow all safety procedures and company policies during deliveries and installations

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in furniture assembly, installation, or a trade-related field preferred

Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely (up to [X] kg)

Basic hand and power tool knowledge

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Valid driver’s license (MR/HR preferred but not essential)

White Card and/or relevant construction/onsite safety training desirable

Ability to read and interpret floor plans or assembly instructions
